Rules & Definitions

  1. GNAS rules of shooting (including Dress rules) will apply.
  2. GNAS affiliation cards may be required to be shown.
  3. Novice is an archer who has not yet completed their first year of affiliation.
  4. Local archers are those who are associated members of NCAS in accordance with clause

    41 of the constitution. Only these members can win society "Local Prize's

5 No prize will be awarded unless a complete round has been shot. If the double round is not completed, prizes will be awarded for the one round which has been completed.

  1. Veterans: - Ladies over 60 and Gentlemen over 65
  2. Entry Fee: - £14 Both Days or £7 for one day.

No substitutes will be allowed. Entry fee not returnable after closing date. No entry without fee. No telephone entries. Preference will be given to double day entries as most of the awards are for the two days shooting.

PHOTOGRAPHY. Please note that photography of any description will only be allowed on registering with the tournament organiser on arrival at the venue.

Drug testing: This is a record status shoot and will be liable to drug testing. Competitors approached to give samples must comply: if they refuse that refusal will be treated as a positive result.

Cumbria Archery, their servants or agents cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles, property or personal injury howsoever caused.

 

GOLD SWEEP: - Entry fee £1. This is optional and will apply at the 100/80yards for gentlemen and 80/60yards for ladies. There will be a separate distribution of monies each day with the total entry fee for the sweep being apportioned according to the number of arrows hitting the inner ring in the gold.

 

Camping: - will be allowed on the field but the facilities are limited. There is no charge for this..

 

DIRECTIONS. Leave M6 junc 40 travel east 1 mile to Kemplay roundabout take the 2"d exit for ALSTON at the 40mph signs turn right for Hunter Hall follow road down hill till you come to the playing fields. A66 travellers follow directions from Kemplay roundabout
