Rouunds                                              Each day will consist of a UK record status FITA 70m seeding round in the morning, shot in 2   details, up to 4 archersper target (arrows will be shot in timed ends of 6 in 4mins) and individual head to head matches in the afternoon (to current rules).

 

Assembly & Pratice                                   FITA & GNAS rules apply, including rule 307, Dress Regulations.

Practice: 8.30am - 9.15am (including equipment inspection) followed by assembly. Shooting will commence at 9.30am.

 

Awards                                              1st 2nd & 3rd Ladies/Gents, Recurve/Compound for the head to head.

                                                                                   There will be a medal for the 70m no.1 seeds of each day

Fees: Two days: £20, single day: £12. (Priority will be given to archers shooting both days).  

 Cheques made payable to: Cumbria County Archery Association or CCAA

Closing date: 5th July 2008. No refunds will be given after this date. Late entries will be

 subject to availability.

 If you require a target list and result sheet please include 2 SAE (at least A5 size) or provide

 an email address(preferred)

 

Refreshments                     There will be a selection of refreshments available on site throughout the day.

 

Camping                                   Camping will be available on Friday and Saturday night, at a cost of £3 per unit per night. Toilet and shower facilities available on site. (Motor homes & Caravans welcome)

 

Animals                                     No animals are allowed anywhere on the playing fields (except guide dogs).

 

Photography                         No still/video photography allowed unless registered with the tournament organiser.

                                                         Archers bringing guests must make them aware of this.

 

Drugs                                          Record status events are liable for drugs testing, any competitor approached must comply,

                                                       any refusal will be considered a positive result. Parents/Guardians of juniors must give

                                                        written consent. Entry is considered an acceptance of possible drug testing.

 

Liability                                       Cumbria County Archery Association and Eden District Council  their servants  and

                                                           members do not accept any liability or responsibility for any loss, damage or injury

                                                         however so caused

 

Directions           From M6 J41 take the A66 east for 1 mile at Kemplay Roundabout take the A686

         Alston  road and after passing the Rugby club (on your left) at the 40mph signs turn

         right  signposted Frenchfield/Hunter Hall this road is a dead end and the field is at

          the end on your left.
